About Radical Abolitionist Healing Workshops
Sisters Unchained hosts weekly workshops to break the isolation between formerly incarcerated women and girls directly affected by parental incarceration. We aim to cultivate more intentional spaces for intergenerational healing between women affected by the prison system. We engage in sister circles, guided meditation and writing exercises, healing practices, and art therapy. This weekly drop in workshop space is created to: support women along their individual journeys to healing their inner child wounds; build community; support healthy personal development and engage in healing justice.
